Do you ever feel like motherhood has robbed you of your identity? Do you wish you could write about it, but feel you just don’t have the time, energy, or words? Join writer Jacey Rogel for this transformative 2 hour LIVE online workshop that will guide you towards discovering the writer within and leave you with tools for moving forward on your journey as a Mother Writer.
When I became a mother, the desire I felt to write was palpable. I needed it to heal, to remember my children’s childhood, to leave something tangible of my love for them. More than that, I needed it as a way to remember who I was before: before the pains and joy of motherhood turned my world upside down.
The way the world is now, it feels even more vital to write. There is no returning to normal. COVID made sure of that. And now that people’s eyes are open to the cruel and disheartening reality of systemic racism in our world, there can be no going back to the way things used to be.
It feels imperative, necessary, to get the burning thoughts out of our minds and let them burn their way into permanency on paper.
We have to move forward. Create a new and better reality for ourselves and for our children.
Our words have the power to help change the world. Our words have the power to shape our children.
If you are a mama with the desire to write but don’t know where to start, feel overwhelmed, or don’t consider yourself a writer, then this workshop is for you. Join me as we we dig deep into what is stopping us from creating, in order to honor our motherhood journey, our unique voice, and the experiences that make up who we are as moms, and as writers.
